Welcome to our Psychological Wellbeing Workshops

Our Psychological Wellbeing workshops focus on enhancing psychological wellbeing, offering practical tools for managing stress, recognising trauma responses, and having SAFE conversations


We cover, workplace psychological wellbeing, promoting positive workplace culture, respect and inclusion, mindfulness, self care, and help seeking.

In a country of growing diversity, we need to increase our Respect and Inclusion training and mentoring in our workplaces


People are at work 6 to 12 hours a day, 5 days (standard) per week.  


It is imperative on workplace morale, outcomes, and attrition, that all personnel feel respected and included whatever their diversity.

    • Te Whare Tapa Wha - the integrity of the whare is dependent on the strength of its four walls
    • How to use perceived 'weaknesses' as strengths to build on leadership capabilities in your leaders
  • Respectful relationships in your workplace - what you are prepared to walk past, you are prepared to accept
    • How to hold respectful/courageous conversations.

Emotions - the 'good' the 'bad' the 'ugly'

This workshop looks at our Emotional range and how emotions are viewed today.


There is a movement today to suppress our 'negative' emotions or the 'bad' and 'ugly' ones, that only 'good' emotions are acceptable, and this 'happyology' or 'toxic positivity' is beginning to have consequences.


We look at the 'Basic 7' emotions, and where these 

This workshop looks at our Emotional range and how emotions are viewed today.


There is a movement today to suppress our 'negative' emotions or the 'bad' and 'ugly' ones, that only 'good' emotions are acceptable, and this 'happyology' or 'toxic positivity' is beginning to have consequences.


We look at the 'Basic 7' emotions, and where these take us across the colour spectrum


We look at our healthy 'negative' emotions, and how in fact, they are part of our survival tools


We look at evidence that suggests that suppressed emotions can lead to poor physioemotional outcomes 


We look at how to be 'happy' with all our emotions - the good, the bad and the ugly, and to be true to what we are feeling and experiencing.

It is vital to know the difference between stress and trauma, all to often today, we are hearing language that suggests that stress IS trauma, it is not, it can however, develop into trauma in some circumstances.


In this workshop, we look at stress  - what is good, what is bad, and how to recognise when stress becomes unhealthy

  • What is our stress response system, and the physiological changes this effects
  • The impact of our stress response on our ability to 'think'
  • How to regulate our stressor and our stress response
  • What is trauma, and why stress and trauma are not interchangeable
  • When stress can become trauma
  • The physio-emotional impacts of stress and trauma
  • Historic trauma and modern day stressors
  • What is post traumatic stress disorder/injury, and what is post traumatic growth

This workshop looks at our survival instincts, what is colloquially know as 'Fight/Flight'.

In this workshop we dig deep into our survival responses, to help people who have experienced historic trauma to understand their ada

This workshop looks at our survival instincts, what is colloquially know as 'Fight/Flight'.


Evidence today has expanded greatly on Fight and Flight, to what we at Magenta Blue Ltd call the 7 'F's of survival.


In this workshop we dig deep into our survival responses, to help people who have experienced historic trauma to understand their adaptive responses to the trauma they have experienced.


This workshop also assists those who have not experienced historic trauma to understand the survival responses of their peers, colleagues, students, employees, family, and people that may be in their care.
